:3 aghhhhhhhhhh i have not made a journal in such a long time.


Right so here i go as a artist i feel its importand to discover new ways to create beautiful  things most people email me ask how i deal with Proportion, shading,originality ect. Shading: ok so in terms of proportion if you are drawing somthing look at the spaces between what part you are drawing and the rest of the object always look at the area next to the bit your drawing because it will give you close or the correct distance you should be drawing the object depending on how well you draw it its just a lil trick i always use .

Shading: shading to me is one of the most intresting parts of working on somthing but there is many ways of shading so i will go through a few of my fav ways crosshatching for example the process of clossing lines over eachother like a X and 0 game only on a much lager scale [link] it makes for a very smooth way to shade in ink . shading in ink 2 this kind of shading is mostly in pure black and white more of a manga style but not for everyone i dont think EG: [link] looks very hard huh well if you are going to do shading  like this i suggest maping out the points you are going to shade in black with a pen or pencil so its easy to stay in the target zone that you want to shade


. shading with a pc program well im not the expert on  this but when im shading on pc i like to move the colour spectrum thing [link] XD i dont know its name but move it directly down abit and you should get a darker  version of what your colour  using (note you might want to make a lil arrow to show where you light is hiting the thing your drawing from).


Originality: your mostly free with this one because you can make whatever you like but this is where some suffer form lack of ideas for me i like creating a sort of energy in my work thats where the main thought of doing random things comes from for me but you should find a large place to seek inspiration books nature  music (rock music LP FTW)......... the sea the skys ghosts -0- woooooooooooooo XD im a very random person in other words.

as a artist we must always push ourselves harder and harder always look ahead but never forget your starting point even the greatest people in the world started of with a dream. *TiG*
